MUSEUM OF INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
The mission of museum MOID is to collect, display, interpret objects that document contemporary and historic innovation in product and Industrial design.
This museum branding project includes generating ideal strategies, trajectories and concepts of the museum develop direction and designing identity, core signature, visual assets, signage and spatial graphics for the museum.
In its exhibitions format, the MOID follows the time order and displays objects from the same period in “one space”, providing a visualized concept of certain age people’s lifestyle, and giving viewers the experience of personally being at the correspond generation. The MOID celebrates the creative process through which materials are crafted into designed products that enhance “live at the moment” perception.
The MOID is a place that fuels revolution, ignites perception, and blooms creativity. With extraordinary exhibitions and the finest collection of industrial design objects, MOID is dedicated to the conversation between the past and the present, the established and the experimental. Our goal is helping you understand and enjoy the feeling of certain time.
MOID champions immersive experience and celebrates all facets of making and the creative processes by which materials are transformed, from traditional techniques to cutting-edge technologies. MOID curatorial program builds upon a rich history of exhibitions that emphasize a cross-disciplinary approach to design, and reveals the workmanship behind the objects and environments that shape human lives.
All signages are also based on the MOID logo. Three out of four squares are ready to add-on, with the left bottom one always stays the same. As showed in the images, certain lines are twice weight comparing to the other, generated from the logo concept: the top stand for the letter”M”, then “O”,”I”,”D” at the bottom.
